The quality of the construction is superb. The flashlight measures a compact 3" x 1". It has a dark grey / army green color.

The flashlight is mounted on the clip with a ball-and-socket joint. This gives it a very good range of movement.

The light twists on or off. The very top of the light bulb housing can be twisted to adjust the light source from "spot" to "flood." Unlike a maglite, this adjustment works independently from the on-off switch.

The only downside to this flashlight is it uses a bi-pin xenon lamp, not an LED light bulb. The lamp is similar to the ones used in the older model of the Mini Maglite flashlights. The light has a yellowish tint, and isn't as bright as light from an LED light source. (As an aside: the two other notable types of bulbs - the halogen and krypton light bulbs - are similar to xenon bulbs except these are filled with halogen and krypton gases, respectively.)

The build quality is very good and the free range of movement makes this flash light an ideal clip-on light. I'm quite happy with it even though it doesn't use an LED light bulb. Definitely recommended.
