(More customer reviews)I received this as a Christmas gift from Mom, not exactly something I would have expected from her, but it has turned into a good little work knife that gets plenty of use.I mainly use it for opening shrink wrapped pallets, cutting banded pallets, opening cardboard boxes, and pretty much anything else too stubborn to get open easily by hand or with the junk box cutter we have to carry as standard issue.

Pros:
-It is sturdy with no blade play and has held up to multiple drops and abuses
-It holds a decent edge, I can make it through a work week if I'm careful but it's good to have a pocket sharpener, a few passes and you're good to go
-The serrations have been most useful on rope, banding, and other difficult materials
-Reasonably comfortable to grip
-Lock out is secure
-Easy to carry without being obvious

Cons:
-Blade is difficult to get open one handed, even after oiling it and working the mechanism a couple hundred times by now
-Blade hinge is stiff (has improved some with oiling, might improve as use continues)
-Thumb button shape and position is a little awkward for me, I have to be holding it just right to work it, forget it if I'm wearing gloves
-Pocket clip is too tight to the handle and doesn't like to go over material any thicker than khaki's without some persuasion (but I generally don't need to clip it anyway)

All in all it is a good work knife, does everything I need it to do, and I'm not too worried about using and abusing it.I think Mom got it for around $10 which makes it a great buy for the price and I'll continue to use it for the simple fact that it was from her and it works!I have a Benchmade Mini Barrage Knife and a SOG Specialty Knives & Tools VL-02 Vulcan Mini Knife, Satin on order from Amazon to try out as personal everyday carry options, hoping that their opening mechanisms are as smooth as described and they can be carried with ease.
