(More customer reviews)Nice tape measure: retracts smoothly, the lock is easy to operate and holds well (better than the FatMax I have). The 1" tape has about an 8' standout. Rubber overmold protects the measure from drops. Large black numerals on a white background are easier to read than the typical yellow tapes, IMHO.
The Pro Clip is the potential issue. It's a nice idea, made up of a plastic bracket that stays on your belt and a mating latch piece that's on the back of the tape measure (where a metal clip is usually found). Operation is intuitive: sliding the tape latch down onto the bracket locks it securely. It releases from the bracket by pressing a small button while you lift the tape up. BUT, you must thread your belt through the bracket for the system to work. The bracket can accommodate belt widths up to about 2 1/4" and a thickness of only about 3/16". So if your belt is bigger in either dimension, you're out of luck. There's no other way to clip the measure to anything but the bracket. So if your belt is too big, or you're not sure the plastic bracket will stand up to job site abuse, you're probably better off with the Tajima G-25BW. It's the same tape measure, but with a standard metal clip on the back.
