I have big hands and it fits nice.I also like the blade design.Held an edge well, and wasn't too big.Sharpened easily on a stone with just a touch of oil.
WAYS TO USE IT
Took it camping with some bass wood blocks the ones sold here I bought the package deal and had my nephews carving in about an hour.
HERE'S THE BEST PART I THINK.THEY PUT DOWN THOSE DERN VIDEO GAMES AND CARVED FOR THE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE.I HELPED AND COACHED.I TOLD THEM THERE ARE NO MISTAKES WHEN YOUR WHITT'LEN (CARVERS HATE THAT WORD)
They really liked it.Smaller kids try soap.I think it also helps children develop good for spacial relationship development, learning scale, and increased attention span.
They also seemed content at times to watch me. Try it with your kids or alone, it is a low cost hobby that is very satisfying.AND RELAXING.
