(More customer reviews)Don't you just hate it when you lose one glove?Do you find yourself with a few mismatched gloves around your house because you held onto one glove, thinking you might find your missing glove?I got tired of buying new gloves every winter just because I had lost half of the pair I decided to take a page out of my mother's playbook. When I was a little boy, Mom outfitted me with those little elastic bands that had clips on either end that fastened to the sleeve cuffs of my winter jacket and held my mittens where I wouldn't be likely to lose them.But, instead of fastening my gloves to my sleeves, I've used one Glove Guard to fasten both of my gloves to the edge of my jacket pocket.If my gloves happen to slip out of my pocket, they don't get away from me.The glove guard is easier to operate than those little mitten clips were, too -- one-handed operation that you can accomplish even if your fingers are cold.The two plastic clips of the Glove Guard are connected by a rubber "string" that allows the device to be flexible as you move and acts as a breakaway device should your gloves become snagged on something.My only gripe is that, if the breakaway function becomes necessary, it usually spells the demise of your Glove Guard (the thing is, after all, only plastic).Still, it's better that this happen than that the device become a little leash to drag your body into harm's way and the Glove Guard is pretty inexpensive should you have to replace it.
