- The off/hi/lo switch wasn't installed right and kept falling into the housing when you tried to use it
- The lo setting didn't even work
- Upon looking into it, the wiring for the lo setting wasn't even hooked up!

Conclusion: Looks like someone assembled this in their garage.The wiring wasn't soldered and just held together with electrical tape.This fan is great if you just wanna throw away $10!I suppose you get what you pay for.
