Lasko 3733 20-Inch Box Fan Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent product. Sturdy,I have used it every night for at least 8 hours for the past year. It moves a large amount of air, and is very, noisy. Its electric use in minimal, which is another bonus. It is also very good for blocking out noise from neighbors. For this price, this is an excellent buy.I have never owned a better box fan, and Ihave purchased literally scores through the years.

Optimus F-0645S 6-Inch 2-Speed Convertible Personal Clip-On/Table Fan, White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This fan was awful and didn't work out of the box, as follows:
- The off/hi/lo switch wasn't installed right and kept falling into the housing when you tried to use it
- The lo setting didn't even work
- Upon looking into it, the wiring for the lo setting wasn't even hooked up!

Conclusion: Looks like someone assembled this in their garage. The wiring wasn't soldered and just held together with electrical tape. This fan is great if you just wanna throw away $10!I suppose you get what you pay for.

Optimus F-0702 7-Inch 2-Speed Personal Adjustable Clip-On Fan, White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When the manufacturer says "whisper quiet", they mean "whisper quiet if you've lost the upper half of your hearing".I bought this fan to use near my desk which has a rather-noisy computer already, however this fan is the loudest thing in the room.Even the "low" setting has a solid whine/hum, unfortunately.A personal fan needs to be quiet enough to not be distracting and annoying a full 8 feet away.

One other tricky bit: The base attaches and clicks in once insecurely, but then must be twisted and popped in (much more securely) a bit past the first position. If your fan is falling apart when you try to turn it, check that.
